Stand for the Family Interfaith Event

Who: Government, religious, business and community leaders and responsible citizens who care about preserving marriage and the family

Why: To learn what you can do to protect your family and to preserve the institution of the family

What: Program includes:

* “Stand for the Family” Award presentation to Ann Barney to honor her late husband, Dennis, for his dedicated advocacy for the family

* Remarks by Sharon Slater, President of Family Watch International, presenting a strategic plan to defend the family that will require the help of all sectors of society

* Statements by representatives of major faith groups in Arizona affirming their support for protecting the institution of the family

* Book signing and launch of Sharon Slater’s new book, Stand for the Family, exposing current threats to all families and providing tools and strategies to counteract them

* Musical numbers and interfaith art exhibits (including Mark Mabry’s new “Reflections of Christ: Another Testament”)
